The concept is the ability to equip the user-specialized cockpit with the engine which has the adequate power for the load to be trailed. Still, the drivers would own their personal cockpit which then can be combined with different electrically propelled trailers.
The combination would be arranged regarding the road conditions and the properties of the load so that the vehicle would consume only needed amount of energy. This setup would require a large web of trailer stations so that the drivers would switch one trailer and continue with another one.
